We have established a climate change governance structure to effectively supervise the implementation of climate strategies from top to bottom.

Strategy

Based on our business and value chain activities, we have reviewed the list of climate risks and opportunities, identified their potential financial impacts and risk mitigation measures, and developed a climate change transition plan for risks that may affect our long-term sustainability.

In 2023, we procured a total of 1,809,298 MWh of renewable energy, reaching a renewable energy coverage rate of 38%.

Carbon Trading

Actively participating in the carbon trading markets of Beijing and Shanghai, with a cumulative carbon trading volume of 152,459 tons.

Life-cycle Sustainable Development

Green Design and Construction

As of the end of 2023, 41 data centers have obtained 54 green data center certifications.

Since 2020, 87% of newly commissioned self-built data centers have received or are applying for green building certifications.

Green Operations and Management

Developed a digital energy-carbon management system platform to achieve real-time PUE tracking.

In 2023, our self-developed data centers achieved an average PUE of 1.28, with the best data center achieve PUE of 1.15.

Building Up Green Management Capability

Form GOCC (global operation command center) and ROCC (regional operation command center) to lively monitoring PUE, WUE, CUE performance.
